Employees will comply with all laws, regulations, instructions, and relevant chemical industry rules that govern their work.


Employees will act in the best interests of SÖZAL Company and avoid situations where their personal interests conflict with the interests of SÖZAL Company as much as possible.


The relatives of relevant parties may be considered within the scope of a personal interest of an employee, depending on the situation.


Employees will inform SÖZAL Company in advance of any secondary employment or membership in the board of directors.


SÖZAL Company will not tolerate any form of bribery, including but not limited to private bribes and bribes through benefits, both directly and indirectly.


Sponsorship payments, cash payments, and other gifts to politicians, political parties, societies, and other organizations can only be made in accordance with applicable laws and with the prior approval of the Company, and all such expenses will be properly recorded.


Gifts and other grants that could influence sound decision-making or direct employees to certain actions will not be accepted.


In case of persistent offers of such gifts, the Company will be informed, and appropriate measures will be taken in consultation with the Management.


SÖZAL Company is dedicated to the international fight against money laundering and the financing of terrorist activities.


No SÖZAL employee can be involved in such activities or engage in insider trading.


SÖZAL Company supports a fair and competitive environment. Compliance with Competition Laws is the policy of SÖZAL Company, and all employees are expected to act in accordance with these principles.


All employees employed by SÖZAL Company will maintain absolute confidentiality regarding all trade secrets owned by SÖZAL Company and learned through the Company both during their employment and after its termination.


All assets owned by SÖZAL Company can only be used for the positive activities of SÖZAL Company. Employees are responsible for appropriately safeguarding these assets against losses, damages, unauthorized use, theft, misappropriation, or destruction.


Copying and reproducing existing software packages of information systems used by SÖZAL employees is prohibited.


Employees may not use the assets of SÖZAL Company for illegal or unethical purposes.


SÖZAL Company is aware of its responsibility to protect the environment and is obligated to act with this awareness in all production processes and in the selection of its products.


All SÖZAL employees share the responsibility to protect people, other employees, and the environment within their respective areas of duty and responsibility.
National and international laws may impose restrictions on the import or export of goods, services, and technologies. In such cases, SÖZAL employees will strictly comply with these restrictions and prohibitions.


SÖZAL Company has embraced the four fundamental principles of the International Labour Organization, namely freedom of association, the right to collective bargaining, the elimination of child labor, and the elimination of discrimination, and applies these principles to its employees.

SÖZAL Company includes its Code of Ethics in the Employment Contract signed with each employee and organizes a one-hour seminar annually.
